3 Unique Places To Eat In The Palm Beaches

When I visited West Palm Beach and Boca Raton in August I was treated to so many meals in so many restaurants that I couldn’t wait to tell you all about them. And I did at the time all over social media. However there were 3 unique places to eat in the Palm Beaches that I especially wanted to tell you about. Guanabanas, Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen and Pistache all stood out due to a special something and if you read on you’ll find out exactly why.

Guanabanas

When we arrived at Guanabanas I was slightly confused because there is no indoor restaurant. Apparently it was because Guanabanas is 100% open air dining. This outdoor restaurant is the most chill place I’ve ever visited outside of the Islands. You can even pull up in your boat, kayak or canoe to grab your lunch or dinner because they are located directly on the water. I saw a few people do exactly this and grab a table in their bathing suit. That’s the atmosphere. On the flip side you can have a classy event at Guanabanas as well. There was a very beautiful baby shower the day I was visiting with lovely decorations and balloons.

The menu, well you can’t go wrong. We ordered the Slow Smoked Sweet & Spicy Wings and all of us were pleased. I ordered the Quesadilla because of course I did, sorry I can’t be more exciting. It was a great Quesadilla though. The menu itself has a lot of everything but it’s a sure bet the seafood will thrill you.

Check out the Guanabanas Live Music tab so you can visit on a day or night with a musician you might enjoy. This restaurant has a tiki stage that looks over their man made waterfalls. The entire restaurant is a sight to see. Come to Jupiter Beach and check it out. Then put your feet up and enjoy.

Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen

If you ever need to find me, come looking at Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen in City Place in West Palm Beach because this is my kind of place. They open up all the glass doors in the front so it’s a very airy setting. Everyone is just sitting at tables or booths and people watching no matter where you are in the restaurant. It was my favorite place to eat during my trip and a place I know Tim and I would frequent before movies or after shopping or you know, days ending in Y.

This is an appetizer and beer restaurant, over 50 beers on tap to be exact. And the appetizers, oh they are so delicious. You know how sometimes you want appetizers for dinner? This is the place. When I visited I was able to sample the Pretzels with white cheddar beer sauce, Chicken Nachos, Gravy Fries and the Mac N’ Cheese. They also have burgers, pizza and salads but not so many that it’s overwhelming. You can’t go wrong.

Order a beer and a delicious appetizer before you walk next door for a show at the Improv or sit and listen to the free live music. I loved this place so much I begged the owner to open one in Orlando. I’m still waiting.

Pistache French Bistro

Are you looking for a fancier evening in the West Palm Beach area? The French Bistro Pistache offers a Tour Du Monde that lasts about 5 months and covers the globe. I visited during St. Barths which was French Caribbean fare. The special menu consisted of items like Caribbean Bouillabaisse and Grilled Local Wahoo and my favorite Mango Creme Brulee. Inside the restaurant they had a DJ and a dance party. Every few weeks these Pistache’s Tour Du Mondes change so keep an eye out because they all sound delicious. Each has it’s own special addition like the DJ dance party such as Flamenco dancing or belly dancers as well to spice things up.

Their every day menu is French food at its best. You can enjoy brunch on Saturday and Sunday, lunch, afternoon and dinner the rest of the week. This place is fancy enough to throw a third menu into the mix. While visiting I tried their Steak Frites and it was like butter. So soft and warm. The Seared Tuna Crudo has avocado and lemon aioli and the combinations were palate cleansing and so good. I recommend both of those things. Their vanilla creme brulee was sweet too, they brought me both the Mango and the Vanilla. I favored the Vanilla because I’m old fashioned but you could order either and end the night on a pleasant note.

These are 3 unique places to eat in the Palm Beaches. I was able to enjoy quite a few meals on my trip but these restaurants all stood out due to their extra stylings and I knew I wanted to recommend them to my readers. If you have any questions or would like to hear about a few of the other restaurants I was able to visit during my stay please feel free to send me an email.

For now, tell me which of these 3 restaurants is calling your name?

*I was served complimentary in exchange for review while visiting on behalf of Discover the Palm Beaches. All opinions are my own.
